I love a good lunch special, and after living here for so many years, this was my first trip to Thai Anantra. I tried the sesame shrimp, which is #12 on their specials menu. It comes with rice and a salad, and at $12.95, it's definitely a steal. I also ordered their Thai tea, which looked absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't wait to mix it up. The staff was incredibly kind, and our food arrived quickly. If you're in a hurry during your lunch break, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Came here for lunch with the boys. Its located next to a couple auto shops so you may miss it. Looking g from the outside, it doesn't look appealing but once you step inside, it gives a different vibe. A little classier than what the outside looks like. There aren't that many seats, however, the service is fast and the service is great. Our server was this older lady who relegated us to a 4 seat table vs a 6 seater. Once she saw our order amount though, she allowed us to attach another table to the 2 we occupied. We ordered family style and surprisingly, our group of 4 actually finished it with room to spare for mango sticky rice for dessert. We ordered drunkin noodle with chicken, crab fried rice, pork bbq, crying tiger beef, tom yum, panang beef, and devil noodle. Everything came out fantastic. The tom yum was dark and sour compared to other spots which are a little watered down. One of the boys liked it more than the other thai spots we frequent. The dipping sauce for the crying tiger and bbq pork matched perfectly. The panang beef paired well with the crab fried rice. And the mango sticky rice topped the meal off and kept our bellies full. We thought we were going to have food coma but luckily survived. Some of the boys didn't have dinner to say the least. We'll definitely come back here for the food and A/C.
A friend and I tried Anantra restaurant for lunch – and very much enjoyed it. It was super busy – we got the last open table. We ordered tom yum soup with chicken (delicious), seafood pad thai (my friend said it was tasty) and lunch special orange chicken (very good and a generous portion but was a bit too sweet for my taste. Very friendly service and a small(ish) parking lot in the front. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back for the soup.
